One of the greatest compliments we receive as wedding photographers are referrals from previous brides and grooms. Referrals are extra special when they come from siblings. We had the wonderful privilege of capturing the wedding of Regen’s sister, Hailey, back in 2019. And we were over the moon excited when Regan contacted us about photographing her own wedding at Magnolia Plantation in Charleston. This entire family is so special, fun, and full of life and we absolutely loved reconnecting with them! We truly felt like old friends.
Regen and Noah’s winter wedding day started out very brisk. Ok, so honestly, it was downright cold and windy, (and remember Jared and I both grew up in the midwest!) We are so thankful that Regan and Noah didn’t let the weather steal any of their joy. Instead, they chose to embrace the cold and make wonderful memories. Equipped with hand-warmers and jackets, we ventured out for their beautiful first look and romantic portraits at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. Their photo time was filled with laughter, lively conversation, and yes a little shivering! As the ceremony time drew near, family and friends gathered overlooking the Ashley River to witness Regen and Noah’s sweet marriage. After the wedding, everyone enjoyed the coziness and warmth of the reception at the Carriage House and danced the night away.
