One of the best benefits of being a wedding photographer is meeting amazing and incredible couples like Christina and Jake, and forming wonderful life-long friendships. We absolutely love celebrating the milestones of life with our couples and one of our favorites to capture is the beautiful bond between husband and wife when they are expecting their first child. There is something magical about this time of anticipation and excitement!
Christina and Jake were exactly as we remembered them from their wedding – full of life, laughter, and love. We picked right up where we left off as if our friendship had been frozen in time. Charleston didn’t exactly show off the best spring weather for their session, but despite the freezing temperatures and misting drizzle, they didn’t let it phase them one bit. We laughed and chatted through their whole session and time spent with them just flew by.
These two will make the most incredible parents. And this little one is already so loved by so many. I know nothing but great things are in store and we cannot wait to capture their next chapter. Until then, please enjoy a quick snapshot of this wonderfully sweet session.
