Engagement sessions are one of our favorite things to shoot, which might sound strange coming from two wedding photographers, but we love spending time with our couples before the wedding day. One of biggest benefits of an engagement photography session is getting our clients comfortable with us and the camera. Let’s be real… very few people are professional models, so everyone can benefit from a few minutes to warm up, shake off the nerves, and relax. This allows couples to genuinely have fun and drop quickly and naturally into poses and prompts. As an added bonus, the wedding day photos will feel smooth, seamless, and comfortable – like hanging out with friends!
Andie and Jim were blessed with a beautiful but windy day for their engagement session on Folly Beach. We spent the afternoon laughing and talking as we walked along the sand and listened to the surf. Andie and Jim are such a sweet couple and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with them.
