Charleston is blessed with lots of great weather for most of the year. It’s known for long springs and falls and overall mild winters, for which we as photographers are extremely grateful. Sometimes, however; it’s not quite as hospitable, but it’s extremely important to embrace the weather, good or bad, and make the most of it. We can’t guarantee perfect weather for your photos, but we have a few tips/tricks that can make it a little more bearable. For instance, we bring clear umbrellas for you and jackets for us, in case it rains. We suggest sunrise/sunset sessions, loose-fitting clothes, and water bottles to combat the heat of summer. Coats for wrapping up between shots and hand warmers are suggested to help keep you toasty in the winter.
Braving the windy and chilly conditions downtown and at the beach, Cady and Jim brought the fire. As you will see in their photos, these two totally killed it at their engagement session and you can’t even tell that they were freezing. Despite the weather, Jared and I had so much fun hanging out with this adorable couple and cannot wait to capture their amazing wedding day later this year at the Cooper River Room.
